Lessons/coachings will be scheduled at the availability of both parties, and will take place either in-person or over ZOOM. Please be advised that only a single lesson/coachings is available for each musician. Once a lesson/coaching is purchased for a specific musician, there will be no further availability.

8 four-minute compositions by former Composer Fellows and Guest Composers, crowdsourced funded by donors and new music advocates, are premiered on August 4, 2024, by the Conference Ensemble, conducted by MD Vimbayi Kaziboni. Support new music by these wonderful composers for as as little as $25. Be the Lead Commissioner for $4000. 8 for 80 composers are: Chen Yi, Gleb Kanasevich, Shulamit Ran, Bahar Royaee, Augusta Read Thomas, David Sanford, Melinda Wagner, & Han Xu.

53 new one-minute pieces premiered in the month leading up to our Aug. 4 Gala, as performed by members our Chamber Music Workshop and various musicians from throughout the country! These new compositions were created by former Composer Fellows. The Composers Conference celebrated 80 years on August 4, 2024 at the beautiful Avaloch Farm Music Institute. The day included a performance by our Conference Ensemble under the direction of MD & conductor Vimbayi Kaziboni, featuring our 8 for 80 commissions, selected works from our Community Commissions and NM/NC, followed by an elegant dinner. Thank you to everyone who made our 80th Gala celebration possible and successful!
